Kiss Me, I’m Carbon Neutral!

Woah, if you just read my title, you can tell I’m bored and well, took the slogan off a pin I got at this years Honda Civic Tour! Today I haven’t really been up to much other then procrastinating, ex. watching the live UFC event that had a horrible card this afternoon and watching hockey games where I can sense the outcome. Pathetic right? Also, I had some horrible news revealed to me today. The Killers are coming to Toronto and well, I did not know and now tickets are sold out through Ticketmaster and you can now only get them for outrageous prices through Stubhub and ticketsnows, or.. whatever Ticketmaster’s high charging-making me mad sites called. They want $100 and up for tickets that went for $60. So yeah.. looks like I’m not going to that concert. Although, their is some good news…

AVENGED SEVENFOLD’S BEEN RESCHEDULED!!!

You have no idea how happy I was to know their still coming this year! So yeah, now I get to see them in December if I do not have an exam the day of the concert. I will be super mad if I do have an exam on the date considering, its the very last day of exams and well…I really want to go. Also, I only have two exams this year and yeah.. knowing my luck it will happen, and that night I’ll have to be writing a stupid exam instead of attending a concert of a lifetime. But.. we’ll have to wait and see at the beginning of November to see if I’m still attending the show.

Lastly, I got my Christmas present this week! Early? Well, yeah, but my gift went onsale for $299 instead of $399, so my dad bought it for me. I got myself a Professional Series Kitchenaid Mixer! It’s gorgeous, it’s red and it made some delicious chocolate cupcakes today. I love love love it and will no longer have to work with my mom’s shady-shaky and wrong attachment/missing parts mixer and now I can actually get new pieces and make stuff without worrying about bowls flying off or having stuff stick to the bottom of a bowl. So yeah.. Christmas this year will be dull for me, but I don’t care, I already got what I wanted!!

I’ll attempt to write more this week. Just lately, I’ve been busy doing random things with my parents and brother such as laser tag and the casino haha. Not mention, I must say, casinos are really freaky on “ladies night”. I swear, I was the youngest person their.. and older people kept staring… like really staring at me. Creepiness…

Oh, Sweet Turkey!

What? What? What? No update since September?

I’ve been extremely busy as of lately with homework, essays, readings, etc. All of which consuming every inch and moment of my time. But now I have a couple days to relax, and start slowly on upcoming projects. I swear, my professors must be part of some secret clique where they decide to make all my assignments due on the exact same day, and yeah.. it drives me nuts.

In other news, when I have had free time, I’ve been doing a couple orders, listening to Maroon 5 (<3), watching hockey/television and I actually went laser-tagging with my brother and his friends. Haha, I swear you can never be too old to laser-tag, but it was quite awkward at first going with my brother and his friends, since their is an age gap with me being older and I only knew two out of five of them. So yeah.. kind of weird. But after like 1 or 2 games, everything was fine, and plus they had to be nice to me, I was their chauffeur. And in hockey news, so far, boring season. I’m not really surprised by anything just yet since I find at the beginning of the season, hockey players do not try at all. In addition, the new season of Ultimate Fighter is amazing. Despite being a huge Frank Mir fan prior to 2004, I find these days, since his surgery, he isn’t entertaining or a good fighter, plus the team he chose sucks. I’m really rooting for Nogeria to win the season and for him to win the match at the end.

Well thats it for now. I’ll try and post again later this weekend.

Sweet Kiwi

Woah, it’s been so long since my last update. I’ve been up to a hell of a lot and have had absolutely no time online. Thankfully that hasn’t affected any orders or anything since I think everyone is attempting to enjoy their last days of summer/vacation.  So whats been happening?

Well, on Tuesday I saw Maroon 5 with opening acts Counting Crowes and Sarah Barellis and boy was it amazing. Maroon 5 was way better then expected and I’m not even a real fan of theres. However, I do respect them, they sounded great and were a great entertaining act. In addition, I thought it was neat that Adam Levine actually gives away his guitar at the end of the set. Poor me though, I was just too far away since we bought tickets in the stands. Heck, the venue never has seats in the pit area, and this time their were seats set up in the pit, if we knew seats would be assigned we would have splurged at StubHub and bought front row tickets. Although, maybe it was good that we were higher up since Counting Crowes was HORRID. I hated every moment of it, they have that country-ish sound happening, played mostly acoustic and accordions, not my kind of thing. In addition, all their songs sounded the same. I really didn’t enjoy it and what made it worse was the crowd got smashed during it. Oh thats another thing, I was one of the youngest in the crowd, not what I expected at a Maroon 5 concert to say the least. But yeah, people in their thirties were piss drunk before Maroon 5 came on. So much so that the people, who did not have tickets to the seats in front of us, pissed me off big time, were walking around with no shoes on and were stumbling they could not even stand up. I honestly hate the venue it was at, I always have a horrid experience there because security sucks and it’s a bunch of stuck up people. Meanwhile all the small clubs, and the extremely large venues I have no problem with.

Then, I went to a couple soccer games… went to the casino and today hung out in Niagara Falls. Woot, we went jetboating and it was amazing. Despite getting soaked with freezing cold water for an hour, I was in heaven and want to go back. After jetboating we drove around looking at my future house mansions owned by all the wine estates and rich people in Niagara. I swear I wish my family owned a wine estate, we’d be billionaires and we would have gorgeous house along the lake front. Heck, I think I may want to live more in Niagara then in Toronto these days since it is so much more beautiful. However, concerts and people never come there, but it’s right beside the border so I would be able to go Buffalo/New York to see concerts, probably for cheaper too. After browsing we went to Fallsview, ate at Applebees, walked down Clifton Hill, laughing at weird tourist and thats about it. I find it weird seeing people so fascinated with Niagara Falls, like theirs nothing really there and the stores that are there have been there since I was a baby. Nothing ever really changes and yeah, I’ve been there so many times its no longer an amazing site and I know my way around.

Well, thats it. I shall leave you all.. other stuff happened too, but I will talk about that in a couple days.

Are You Ready to Rumble?

I find it odd, I’m able to watch hockey, soccer, swimming, etc. on a regular basis, but place all events together into one long week long event and I’m put to sleep. The Olympics bore me, and many of my favourite sports are featured like.. soccer yet, I cannot watch it. It’s just so boring and I feel that certain countries are dominating and others are not even present. Like their are three countries controlling all winnings and its only because they were able to send the most people to the Olympics. So yeah, I don’t support the Olympics and I believe the metals have no meaning.

In other news, today we picked up our concert tickets which certifies that we are going. Yippee! I cannot wait and well, I’m kind of disappointed that everything is happening while I’m in school. It sucks since I’ve been off from school for the past four months and absolutely nothing came through the province that was exciting. Okay, maybe Warped Tour was exciting, but each time it comes to Toronto, it rains and rains … and rains, and being at an outdoor festival is not fun when it’s raining. Also, today it was pouring rain for most of the day, which pretty much left me housebound. I swear it’s been a horrid summer, we’ve had more downpours and lightning/thunder storms then any other summer or year ever. And when I say storms, I mean it rains so hard that you have to run for cover since the rain is so heavy or it’s hail and lighting strikes at least three times every five minutes.

Boo. I wish I left the province this summer. I’m sick of Ontario and yeah, I have my sights set on any other location in the world.. well.. somewhere where it rains less and has fresh seafood. I still have three weeks left but my parents booked opposite vacations and it seems like I’m stuck with crappy day trips. I’m sorry but we always go to the same places that never change.. or they do change for the worse. Hopefully something changes though and we just leave on the fly. It would be a dream of mine………
