Crossroads

So this week was pretty much.. hell on heels. So what happened exactly?

Well, my Avenged Sevenfold concert, as well as many other dates were cancelled/postponed till a later date on Wednesday. It really sucks considering they cancelled the day prior to my concert. I really wish I knew it would be cancelled days earlier, or even a week earlier. Having it cancelled the day before pretty much ruined my next day. In addition, Ticketmaster and Live Nation were so slow at responding to the cancellation, like it took nearly twenty-four hours before they posted anything. But I did get a personalized phone call from Ticketmaster the day of my concert informing me of the cancellation, saying my tickets are still valid, but the new concert date is yet to be determined. Now all I need to pray is that they don’t come during exams or on November 25.. since Cobra Starship’s that day.

Then, I had a full week of school. Yuck, I do not miss school at all and instead am back to my old procrastination ways and well, I still have yet to read a chapter from any novel/textbook I’ve purchased. Pathetic? You bet! However, I have an assignment due Monday that shall get done!

Then, I made two Danish braids, however one turned out messed. Well, the whole thing just.. opened up. The braid never held, but it still looks tasty as hell! It’s still cooling now and shall be ready for tomorrow morning.

Other then all that, this week was pretty darn crappy. I finished one new clients wordpress, however that will not be linked until the site goes public! Woot, and it looks extremely hot, the layout, coding, everything looks fresh!

Now I shall leave you!

I Have Friends..

In high and low place….

For some reason, I’m back to listening to Forever the Sickest Kids and am also back to updating here. Yay! So whats my problem/cause for lack of updates? Well… university is to blame and well my hectic offline life. Therefore I’ll sum up some recent events.

Went to Best Buy on Tuesday, buying SUPERNATURAL SEASON 3!
Casino on my last day off on Wednesday
Started third year of university last Thursday
Went shopping to the Buffalo on Thursday
Went out on Friday
Shopping for baking supplies on Saturday
Watched wrestling on Sunday and went out to eat for my brothers birthday

So thats whats been going on. In addition, I’ve been hanging out with my friends almost all the time now that I’m back in school and have been away from the computer for quite some time as well. Although, I have not really been doing anything productive. I swear when I do have a break, I should be opening my textbooks and getting ahead in lecture, but yet again I’m acting lazy, leaving my books in the bag I bought them in, until I need to use them or have an exam to write.

Well thats about it. I have so many things to do.. and have no idea where to begin. Also, AVENGED SEVENFOLD on Thursday! yay!!!

Sweet Kiwi

Woah, it’s been so long since my last update. I’ve been up to a hell of a lot and have had absolutely no time online. Thankfully that hasn’t affected any orders or anything since I think everyone is attempting to enjoy their last days of summer/vacation.  So whats been happening?

Well, on Tuesday I saw Maroon 5 with opening acts Counting Crowes and Sarah Barellis and boy was it amazing. Maroon 5 was way better then expected and I’m not even a real fan of theres. However, I do respect them, they sounded great and were a great entertaining act. In addition, I thought it was neat that Adam Levine actually gives away his guitar at the end of the set. Poor me though, I was just too far away since we bought tickets in the stands. Heck, the venue never has seats in the pit area, and this time their were seats set up in the pit, if we knew seats would be assigned we would have splurged at StubHub and bought front row tickets. Although, maybe it was good that we were higher up since Counting Crowes was HORRID. I hated every moment of it, they have that country-ish sound happening, played mostly acoustic and accordions, not my kind of thing. In addition, all their songs sounded the same. I really didn’t enjoy it and what made it worse was the crowd got smashed during it. Oh thats another thing, I was one of the youngest in the crowd, not what I expected at a Maroon 5 concert to say the least. But yeah, people in their thirties were piss drunk before Maroon 5 came on. So much so that the people, who did not have tickets to the seats in front of us, pissed me off big time, were walking around with no shoes on and were stumbling they could not even stand up. I honestly hate the venue it was at, I always have a horrid experience there because security sucks and it’s a bunch of stuck up people. Meanwhile all the small clubs, and the extremely large venues I have no problem with.

Then, I went to a couple soccer games… went to the casino and today hung out in Niagara Falls. Woot, we went jetboating and it was amazing. Despite getting soaked with freezing cold water for an hour, I was in heaven and want to go back. After jetboating we drove around looking at my future house mansions owned by all the wine estates and rich people in Niagara. I swear I wish my family owned a wine estate, we’d be billionaires and we would have gorgeous house along the lake front. Heck, I think I may want to live more in Niagara then in Toronto these days since it is so much more beautiful. However, concerts and people never come there, but it’s right beside the border so I would be able to go Buffalo/New York to see concerts, probably for cheaper too. After browsing we went to Fallsview, ate at Applebees, walked down Clifton Hill, laughing at weird tourist and thats about it. I find it weird seeing people so fascinated with Niagara Falls, like theirs nothing really there and the stores that are there have been there since I was a baby. Nothing ever really changes and yeah, I’ve been there so many times its no longer an amazing site and I know my way around.

Well, thats it. I shall leave you all.. other stuff happened too, but I will talk about that in a couple days.

Are You Ready to Rumble?

I find it odd, I’m able to watch hockey, soccer, swimming, etc. on a regular basis, but place all events together into one long week long event and I’m put to sleep. The Olympics bore me, and many of my favourite sports are featured like.. soccer yet, I cannot watch it. It’s just so boring and I feel that certain countries are dominating and others are not even present. Like their are three countries controlling all winnings and its only because they were able to send the most people to the Olympics. So yeah, I don’t support the Olympics and I believe the metals have no meaning.

In other news, today we picked up our concert tickets which certifies that we are going. Yippee! I cannot wait and well, I’m kind of disappointed that everything is happening while I’m in school. It sucks since I’ve been off from school for the past four months and absolutely nothing came through the province that was exciting. Okay, maybe Warped Tour was exciting, but each time it comes to Toronto, it rains and rains … and rains, and being at an outdoor festival is not fun when it’s raining. Also, today it was pouring rain for most of the day, which pretty much left me housebound. I swear it’s been a horrid summer, we’ve had more downpours and lightning/thunder storms then any other summer or year ever. And when I say storms, I mean it rains so hard that you have to run for cover since the rain is so heavy or it’s hail and lighting strikes at least three times every five minutes.

Boo. I wish I left the province this summer. I’m sick of Ontario and yeah, I have my sights set on any other location in the world.. well.. somewhere where it rains less and has fresh seafood. I still have three weeks left but my parents booked opposite vacations and it seems like I’m stuck with crappy day trips. I’m sorry but we always go to the same places that never change.. or they do change for the worse. Hopefully something changes though and we just leave on the fly. It would be a dream of mine………

Can’t Hide a Lie

Finally, after a couple days of downtime due to my own stupidity, Mannequin Dance is back and better then ever. So what exactly happened? Well, when doing a routine installation of Wordpress, I accidentally deleted Mannequin Dance entirely. However, it was probably because I was watching Sunset Tan, and well, lets just say it lowered my IQ to levels never seen before. I swear, I do not understand how people can enjoy watching or watch the show on a routine basis. The individuals on the show are so annoying and lets admit it, airheads. So yeah, everything was deleted and I had to start from scratch, getting the site in order, although some content has now been lost forever. For instance, tutorials are now gone. But, I am accepting requests for what YOU want to see in the visitors section. I’m down for adding anything, icons, tutorials, codes, etc. I just want to know what people want to see and will find helpful. So go leave me a comment and tell me what you want me to add to the section.

In other news, as you can see, new layout is up as well. Hopefully you like it, since I know I love the orange and black combination. It’s so .. ghoulish, but then again I can also call it an autumn/fall related layout since summer is almost over. Wow, I cannot believe how fast it’s gone by.

So what’s new with my life? Well, here’s the run down…. nothing. Depressing, I wish I was going on vacation, or at least leaving Ontario in some way. I’m sick of being here, it always rains and it’s been so boring. But, I do have some excitement planned. Lets see.. Maroon 5 in about a weeks time! Then in September I’m seeing Avenged Sevenfold at a small venue and then in November I’m seeing Cobra Starship for the forth time in the past two years. Now that’s nuts, but I’m so excited!! In addition, Forever the Sickest Kids are opening for Cobra Starship and well.. I’m excited to see them since their actually really good and one of few bands I’ve actually began liking this year. This year has had some horrid artists come out and yeah, I haven’t bought many cds or downloaded many songs. Instead, I find myself resorting to the old.

Lastly, I got my school schedule today and I’m mad. I have one tutorial in the wierdest timeslot available that needs changing badly. I don’t understand how my school makes schedules, I have massive breaks and somehow always have a class at the very end of the day, with a big break before it. I’m going to try my best to change that. But on a good note, next semester … well, winter semester I have Tuesday’s off. Yippee!

Well thats it for now. I’ll post again tomorrow, if something interesting happens. Oh, and yesterday I went to the casino and won $100! It was awesome considering I made $10 into $100, but … in reality it was a $40 win since I brought and spent $60.
