Kiss Me, I’m Carbon Neutral!

Woah, if you just read my title, you can tell I’m bored and well, took the slogan off a pin I got at this years Honda Civic Tour! Today I haven’t really been up to much other then procrastinating, ex. watching the live UFC event that had a horrible card this afternoon and watching hockey games where I can sense the outcome. Pathetic right? Also, I had some horrible news revealed to me today. The Killers are coming to Toronto and well, I did not know and now tickets are sold out through Ticketmaster and you can now only get them for outrageous prices through Stubhub and ticketsnows, or.. whatever Ticketmaster’s high charging-making me mad sites called. They want $100 and up for tickets that went for $60. So yeah.. looks like I’m not going to that concert. Although, their is some good news…

AVENGED SEVENFOLD’S BEEN RESCHEDULED!!!

You have no idea how happy I was to know their still coming this year! So yeah, now I get to see them in December if I do not have an exam the day of the concert. I will be super mad if I do have an exam on the date considering, its the very last day of exams and well…I really want to go. Also, I only have two exams this year and yeah.. knowing my luck it will happen, and that night I’ll have to be writing a stupid exam instead of attending a concert of a lifetime. But.. we’ll have to wait and see at the beginning of November to see if I’m still attending the show.

Lastly, I got my Christmas present this week! Early? Well, yeah, but my gift went onsale for $299 instead of $399, so my dad bought it for me. I got myself a Professional Series Kitchenaid Mixer! It’s gorgeous, it’s red and it made some delicious chocolate cupcakes today. I love love love it and will no longer have to work with my mom’s shady-shaky and wrong attachment/missing parts mixer and now I can actually get new pieces and make stuff without worrying about bowls flying off or having stuff stick to the bottom of a bowl. So yeah.. Christmas this year will be dull for me, but I don’t care, I already got what I wanted!!

I’ll attempt to write more this week. Just lately, I’ve been busy doing random things with my parents and brother such as laser tag and the casino haha. Not mention, I must say, casinos are really freaky on “ladies night”. I swear, I was the youngest person their.. and older people kept staring… like really staring at me. Creepiness…

Imagine all the Girls! (La La La)

Woah, how gramatically incorrect is this title? Haha. I cannot stop listening to The Ting Tings and Avenged Sevenfold’s new album. Both bands are amazing but each time I go to purchase their albums, no one can find them. I do not understand how twenty-five albums can just be lost in stock. Like no one buys albums these days and the stores that sell them are so small that I cannot comprehend how they can be lost. But yeah, I need to buy both albums when I actually visit a store that has them in stock.

In other news my black velvet cake turned out amazing. It sunk a bit because of numerous factors, but in general, it came out delightfully well. Everyone loved it and in addition, I made my own icing yet again, not following any recipe and it turned out smooth and not extremely sweet. So yay!

This week I have a ton of things to do. I have like five assignments due at the beginning of October then I also have a job interview tomorrow and I also need to start preparing for tests. Well thats it, I’m going back to typing up my school notes.

Woah, Woah Woah!

So life has pretty much thrown me a hell of a lot of curveballs this week and this year. I swear, 2008 = Worst Year Ever for me to say the least. My uncle died, wallet got stolen/lost (but later returned), Avenged Sevenfold cancelled, I felt like the oldest person at a Panic at the Disco concert, still not rich and I still am attending university. I really wish I could just win the lottery and live life freely! I would still finish school, but then I could buy my way through life. I already have a set list of things I would do in my head and hopefully they will be carried through at some point in my life. Haha. I’m not the kind of girl planning my wedding, instead I plan my spending! Woot! Also, I have serious issues with marriage. I feel as though every time I saw I do not want anything elaborate or want hundreds of guests, my mom gets mad. She’s beginning to drive me nuts since I’m not going to change my mind. I hate weddings their always so boring and I would rather have something exclusive so I can spend a lot on the people I love the most. Yuck,  now I’m rambling.

In other news, I did some more Wordpress orders, wo-hoo! I prefer coding then making layouts these days since each time I open up Photoshop, I think in my head… you should be practicing Flash for school. I like hate Flash, it’s just so much to take in and its like php coding, a pain in the ass. But yeah, I really try to steer clear however with practice I probably will begin to like the software.

I baked vanilla cupcakes on Thursday that came out amazing. I’m really starting to become a vanilla cupcake girl! Theirs something about chocolate cupcakes and my oven that just don’t go as good. Also, I perfected a good icing for cupcakes, it’s my own secret blend since all the recipes I get online for icing always make it way too sweet. So yeah, mine comes out just right! And today I’m in the process of making a Red Velvet Cake (hypocritical?), it sunk though.. since I’m an idiot and placed it in a cool environment too soon.  Thats all for now.

Crossroads

So this week was pretty much.. hell on heels. So what happened exactly?

Well, my Avenged Sevenfold concert, as well as many other dates were cancelled/postponed till a later date on Wednesday. It really sucks considering they cancelled the day prior to my concert. I really wish I knew it would be cancelled days earlier, or even a week earlier. Having it cancelled the day before pretty much ruined my next day. In addition, Ticketmaster and Live Nation were so slow at responding to the cancellation, like it took nearly twenty-four hours before they posted anything. But I did get a personalized phone call from Ticketmaster the day of my concert informing me of the cancellation, saying my tickets are still valid, but the new concert date is yet to be determined. Now all I need to pray is that they don’t come during exams or on November 25.. since Cobra Starship’s that day.

Then, I had a full week of school. Yuck, I do not miss school at all and instead am back to my old procrastination ways and well, I still have yet to read a chapter from any novel/textbook I’ve purchased. Pathetic? You bet! However, I have an assignment due Monday that shall get done!

Then, I made two Danish braids, however one turned out messed. Well, the whole thing just.. opened up. The braid never held, but it still looks tasty as hell! It’s still cooling now and shall be ready for tomorrow morning.

Other then all that, this week was pretty darn crappy. I finished one new clients wordpress, however that will not be linked until the site goes public! Woot, and it looks extremely hot, the layout, coding, everything looks fresh!

Now I shall leave you!

I Have Friends..

In high and low place….

For some reason, I’m back to listening to Forever the Sickest Kids and am also back to updating here. Yay! So whats my problem/cause for lack of updates? Well… university is to blame and well my hectic offline life. Therefore I’ll sum up some recent events.

Went to Best Buy on Tuesday, buying SUPERNATURAL SEASON 3!
Casino on my last day off on Wednesday
Started third year of university last Thursday
Went shopping to the Buffalo on Thursday
Went out on Friday
Shopping for baking supplies on Saturday
Watched wrestling on Sunday and went out to eat for my brothers birthday

So thats whats been going on. In addition, I’ve been hanging out with my friends almost all the time now that I’m back in school and have been away from the computer for quite some time as well. Although, I have not really been doing anything productive. I swear when I do have a break, I should be opening my textbooks and getting ahead in lecture, but yet again I’m acting lazy, leaving my books in the bag I bought them in, until I need to use them or have an exam to write.

Well thats about it. I have so many things to do.. and have no idea where to begin. Also, AVENGED SEVENFOLD on Thursday! yay!!!
